Attorney Profile

W. Steven Berman

Mr. Berman is an Associate attorney with the firm. He is admitted to practice before the Courts of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (1986); the State of New Jersey (1986); and before the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey (1986) and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania (2003). He is a 1986 graduate of the Dickinson School of Law at Penn State University, and graduated from Brandeis University (B.A., 1982). He is also a member of the New Jersey Bar Association; and of the American Trial Lawyers' Association in New Jersey. He was the winner of the ATLA Environmental Law Essay Award in 1985. Following a judicial clerkship, Mr. Berman worked for several well known Philadelphia law firms, primarily defending persons who were sued in all phases of litigation in the state and federal courts of New Jersey and Pennsylvania, in a wide variety of cases. Mr. Berman is now the resident attorney in our Philadelphia and New Jersey offices. In 2004, Mr. Berman lectured at the Mealy's Diet Drug seminar in Philadelphia.
