Metlife Critical Injury Insurance FAQs

How does the MetLife Critical Injury Insurance work?

MetLife’s Critical Injury Insurance covers certain types of cancer that are diagnosed within the policy term.

The coverage amount is anticipated to be $100,000 for the first six policy years.

For the remaining policy term, your coverage amount may be reduced, but cannot be reduced below a minimum coverage amount, which is anticipated to be $50,000.  The coverage amount will be determined by MetLife.  Your certificate will tell you how long coverage will be in effect.
